Long Post

Music has been in my life since as long as I can remember. I grew up in Northfield, MN singing in kids groups, choirs, and in the hallways around school with friends. I was once told that dating me is like having a personal soundtrack to life.

After I got college out of the way, I decided that music was much more in my future than I ever realized. I’m the type of person who hears a word or phrase and can burst into song. I love driving in my car the most because when you live in an apartment, it’s harder just to belt out your favorite tunes without thinking you have an audience. And dinner is always more relaxing and fulfilling with some good background music.

I’m still working on considering myself a musician though. I took piano lessons for 8 years, and it wasn’t until I quit that I understood what it was all about. The guitar took a lot of getting used to. I started it in college and started writing a little bit, but now realize more than ever that it just comes with time, a lot of stuff does actually. I love harmonies and catchy tunes.

Currently, I am living in Nashville to try and broaden my horizons and find other people who love being music as much as I do. I’m getting used to sharing my musical abilities with others who are willing to listen. I’m a real big believer in being proud of what you’re doing so that others can be proud with you. It makes it that much more exciting and fun. I know I have a lot to learn, but for now, I’m just trying to get people to listen and enjoy as much as I do.

New Post

I really hope this works because if it doesn't, Ben is going to be pissed.
