We created this blog to offer various opinions on games from two very different perspectives.
Maren is a wicked cool girl gamer who grew up on a farm in small-town Minnesota, where they apparently have electricity. And a lot of corn.
This blog was actually Maren’s idea, and while she doesn’t consider herself a writer–she is–in her heart of hearts. No pressure, Maren.
As for me, well–I love video games and have been playing them for a good portion of my life. I don’t think I’ve ever matched the elation I experienced when my parents gave me Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES when I was six. I was pretty sure it didn’t get any better than that.
Turns out, it does.
